She obtained her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, and was selected as the Student Dean. Dr. Patel completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, and was recognized amongst the top of her class as a “Resident of the Year.” She completed her residency training in Neurology at Temple University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.
